No New Year's Resolutions

It's nine days into the New Year and I haven't broken any of my resolutions, because I didn't make any this year. Instead of making resolutions, I made New Year goals. I believe it's easier to commit to goals than resolutions. I decided in order to make this the best year ever, I had to create realistic goals that would help me achieve making my dreams come true. So this year to begin my journey on achieving my dreams, I first sat down and wrote a declaration of proclamation to myself about what I wanted to accomplish in my life and what I wanted my life to mean. In doing this I wrote down the necessary tools, resources, and steps I had to achieve in order to make it happen. The first step to achieving my New Year goals is that I had to get real about myself, which means I had to be brutally honest about my faults, fears and what role I played in my life being where it's at now and how I can change it so, that I can be ones step closer to achieving my goals that will lead me to the I know that I deserve, and destine to have.

An example of one of my faults is that I procrastinate in about everything I do. I mean I put off putting up the laundry after I have washed and folded it, to even writing on my both my blogs, to even reading a book I bought for the purpose of reading it. When I was in school from high school to college I procrastinated about writing my papers till the last minute, to where I put unnecessary stress on me ( I still got made As or Bs on those papers). The point is if I would just started on time and stayed focus then I would have saved myself a lot of stressful nights and days. So to help me with my problem of procrastination, I have decided to create 'To Do Lists' where I priorities the importance of what needs to be done and put time limits on each item, so I will get it done. I am hoping that it keeps me on track of achieving my New Year goals. I will keep you inform.
