Single Moms: The Reality Show Would You Watch?

Is it me or is anyone else tired of these reality shows? I mean it seems like everyone and their mama has a reality show, and getting paid and rich off of acting like ill-mannered fools on television. But I have yet to see a real reality show dealing with the real issues and difficulties facing our communities and families. What am I talking about? I am talking about the struggles and lives of the thousands and thousands of single moms out here today taking care of their families. Where is the reality show that follows a single mom working a minimum wage job, trying to pay the bills, daycare and putting food on the table? Plus, going to school trying to improve her life which in turn improving the lives of her child(ren). Or showing how she handles a deadbeat dad that refuses to take responsibility financially and emotionally with raising his child(ren). Single moms are the ones who need a reality show that showcases their courage, strength, determination, tenacity and sacrifices for their families. I guess being a single mom is not as glamorous and noteworthy as making a sex tape or getting pregnant by a famous rapper, actor or athlete.
I am just saying it would be nice to see a reality show with women I could relate to with the same struggles, fears and joys I have, and not women worrying about whose gossiping about them, or who is sleeping with who or what party they wasn’t invited to. I believe that networks like Lifetime, WEtv, Oxygen, and other networks that cater towards women should really look into creating a reality show that portrays single moms in a positive light and show their stories of rising above adversity. I believe portraying single moms in this light would encourage other single mothers in improving their lives, and achieving their goals and dreams. What do you think; should there be a reality show about single moms? Would you be on a reality show about  single moms?
